This comes as no real surprise. Ronaldo's pressuring has deteriorated since the data was made accessible, and he is unlikely to improve at the age of 36. After averaging 9.4 pressures per 90 minutes in 2018/19, he fell to 7.7 the following season, 7.2 in 2020/21, and finally 6.7 with United. However, the tweet's worth stems from Diaz's exceptional performance. The Colombian recovered possession in the final third 14 times in 958 minutes of play time, or 1.3 times per 90 minutes. This may not appear to be a large number, but it is an intriguing figure for four reasons.
